Is your mind in agreement?

Do you wonder why your prayers are not answered? As a Christian, sometimes you fast, pray, decree, prophesy, sow seed of faith etc., yet you do not get a good result. One area Christians need to check is the aspect of their thought lives especially in relation with the prayer they are praying. Do you really mean what you are saying when you pray? Are your thoughts in agreement with the prayer you have prayed? Maybe your prayer is a case of crying out to God with your lips while your mind is far from what your lips are saying?

It is important that your thoughts and prayers are in agreement because God gives you the desires of your heart (mind) Psalm37:4. He establishes your thoughts Prov. 16:3, not just what you say with your mouth. He weighs the thoughts of your heart (mind) Prov. 21:2 as well. The type and quality of your thought goes a long way to determine the type and quality of answer you get to your prayers. Out of your thoughts comes your words, out of your words comes your actions and your actions determine your win or lose in life’s battle.

Remember the old adage, ‘Sow a thought, reap an act; sow an act, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny’. Your thought is as important as your prayer. If you do not mean it do not pray it. Make your thoughts agree with your prayer.
Winning starts from the mind, so start winning from your mind.
